We held our annual drinks party and tasting on Thursday 22nd of November in central London. Despite moving into the Mandarin's Ballroom to give us more space after the popularity of this event last year, we were overwhelmed by well over 330 guests attending.
With Grand Cru Champagne and canapés flowing all night there was a great atmosphere as Christmas came early to Knightsbridge. Over 40 prestigious wines were tasted by our guests ranging from Premier Cru Chassagne-Montrachet to spectacular New World stars of Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines culminating in some very fine Moulin St Georges 2003 (St Emilion) and Lynch Bages 1995 (Pauillac) - not to mention superb sweet wine from Chateau Climens (Sauternes-Barsac) and a very popular 1993 Armagnac.

The annual tasting is rapidly becoming a major social event and we are already planning ahead for next year. The greatest challenge has to be finding a venue big enough!
