Mordoree's Tavel Rose selected by Cathay Pacific for their inflight magazine

In the August 2013 issue of Cathay Pacific’s inflight magazine Discovery, Domaine de la Mordoree's Tavel Dame Rousse 2012 was selected by Sally Gudgeon for her article "In the Pink".

"While most roses are simple, fun wines and not for endless discussion, there are a few more serious, elegant, structured styles, such as Hemingway's favourite, the roses from Tavel. The hot Mediterranean climate of this southern Rhone appellation allows the grapes (grenache, syrah and clairette) to reach full phenolic ripeness, while extended skin contact  during fermentation results in a deep-pink colour and a structured, tannic palate.

Domaine de la Mordoree: This exciting domaine produces some superb Rhone Valley wines from different appellations including Chateauneuf du Pape and Lirac. Its Tavel rose, La Dame Rousse, goes beautifully with Sashimi or sushi." Sally Gudgeon, Discovery, August 2013
