It's Australia Day this Thursday and we are really getting behind fabulous Australian wine. Alex has just opened up this Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon that has impressed the team.
On tasting this wine, we were immediately wowed by its amazing purity of fruit, bursting with concentrated blackberry fruit. Intense aromas of blackberries and cherries are joined on the palate by subtle cedary oak and a minty freshness. This wine is stunning in its youth, but beautifully balanced, a wine with great finesse and has the structure and pedigree to thrive with a few years cellaring.
