We were lucky to taste the 2010 Condrieu Les Terrasses du Palat from François Villard in the office on Friday. Sean has written the following tasting note:
"Attractive bright yellow golden colour with great aromatics typical of Viognier, peach melba, apricot and freshly cut flowers. The palate is deliciously rich, weighty and oily with prominent chalky notes, ginger, vanilla, lemon bon bon sweets followed through with a subtle hint of spice. This wine is rich but wonderfully pure, beautifully clean and a absolute pleasure to drink. This will keep for a few years but is irresistible now so why wait......" Sean Burbridge
