Cederberg Private Cellar scoops top awards at SAWi (South African Wine Index)

South African Wine Index, better known as SAWi now has the ultimate guide:

On the 3rd December the South African Wine Index (SAWi) acknowledged South African wine excellence at its gala awards event, held at the luxurious Grootbos Private Nature Reserve, who also sponsored the event. Cederberg's Private Cellar was proud to be recognised for their hard work, winning the following awards:

Four Platinum Awards:

Cederberg Private Cellar Sauvignon Blanc

Ghost Corner Sauvignon Blanc

Cederberg Private Cellar Ghost Corner Semillon

Cederberg Private Cellar Teen die Hoog Shiraz


Two Top Cultivar Awards:

Cederberg Private Cellar Sauvignon Blanc and

Ghost Corner Semillon.


Sharing the Winery of the year award:

Cederberg Private Cellar and Bouchard Finlayson.

David Nieuwoudt
