Hermitage rd. bar and restaurant marks their 1st Anniversary

Located in the heart of Hitchin’s town centre, Hermitage rd. bar and restaurant is one of the town’s best loved eateries. Almost a year ago Howard, Ellene and their team hit the ground running when they decided to open their doors to the discerning public. Offering good food at very reasonable prices has proven to be a major hit in the current economy.


To mark the occasion the restaurant will be launching their new “Sunday all day offering”. On Sunday 28th October, starting at 9am with the launch of their new breakfast menu, rolling on to Sunday lunch and dinner until 8pm.
 


Hermitage rd. has been awarded Bib Gourmand in the Michelin 2013 guide (Bib Gourmand is awarded to establishments who offer good food at a moderate price) and is in the 2013 edition of The Good Food Guide.
The restaurant can hold 150 covers and features an open kitchen, adding to the ambiance and excitement of the dining experience. The kitchen is headed up by dynamic young talent, Kumour Uddin. who previously worked as Sous Chef at the sister establishment The Fox, Willian. The food offer is geared around casual dining andsharing platters with a British theme.
